Hi I'm Nate and I'm 15 helping my father with his iTunes. To my problem, my dad uploaded some music half or so of which were already in his library. So as you might have guess he has many duplicates of some 3,000 songs, the duplicates dont work as they were uploaded from an external drive. What he cant figure out is how to get rid of the duplicates. I went to "show duplicates" under file but it seams as if there isnt an option to delete the non working ones. I would greatly appreciate any help as I'm stumped. Sorry if this is in the wrong section but I am simply in need of help and I know forums are full of experts of there topic. Thanks!

How about sorting by date added? I assume the not-working duplicates were added in one session.

Yeah they were added in one session until my dad learned he had to re add them to the library after uploading the music from the external drive to the internal drive in the laptop.
