So I want to trade in my old MacBook Pro for the iPad Pro. The only time I use my MacBook is to backup my music library. I have a lot of music that I've burned from cds so my question is how am I going to back up my music? It's my understanding the iCloud will only back up my purchased music. Thanks

I believe ITunes Match solves this for you

Just keep this in mind: iTunes Match won't backup your music in CD quality, even if they are uploading those not in iTunes library.
