Yes of course there are -- any of the versions that were current in about 2001 - 2002 should work. You will need to do some digging however to identify system requirements on the older versions, and to locate sources to buy the older versions.

Most current version programs (even the entry level ones) require a minimum G4 or G5 processor and a DVD drive.

We can't really give more detail, as you haven't told us what gear you have, what type of musing making you want to do, what model of iBook G3 you have, etc. etc.

One thing you can count on is needing to max the RAM in the iBook and possibly get an external Firewire drive for audio data storage.
