Music Mixing Programs

I just got a house for this semester in college and would like to DJ some of my parties. Any recommendations on a program that does fades and lil scratches. Doesn't need to be a hardcore one just a simple one to make good playlists.

why not just use itunes? make the playlists you want and set the playback to crossfade

I would but I would like to speed up and slow down as well as mix.

You should look into http://www.pacemaker.net/ I'm not 100% sure if you can download the music editor if you're not in the beta, but it's a pretty cool program. I haven't had the time to really dive itno it, but from what I've played with so far, it's good.
