music no longer syncing iPhone 5

After upgrading to latest iOS and iTunes, I can no longer get music onto my iPhone 5. I've always manually moved music onto the phone within iTunes. iTunes match is turned off on all Macs and on the phone and I've never turned it on.

Any ideas what the hell is going on?
