Music not adding to iTunes - any advice?

I have tried drag/drop as well as CRTL+O.

What else can I try?

your music should be in the itunes media folder inside your music folder.


in itunes go to File > Add to Library > iTunes Media


It should import all the music stored there and future ones as well.

if you play the song (file) directly from the folder, where does it play?

I actually tried to do that right after responding to you and it doesn't play in Windows. So the problem was unrelated to iTunes.

Just gotta figure out what happened to those files.
