iPhone X Music not playing from where I left off

iPhone X recently started forgetting what I had playing and not starting from where I left off? Is there any fix for this, as it's quite annoying. My iPhone is loaded with music and I'm using the Music app. I notice that instead of the last track showing, its says "Not Playing" and will start playing the first song in my library instead.

My 8 does the same, only fairly recently though. I assumed it must be something in one of the updates, I’m currently on 11.4.

Same here, recently started. Hoping there is a solution.
