this morning before leaving for work, I synced around 10GB of music via iTunes from my Mac, to my iPhone. Verified this two ways - first, the usage widget in Notification Center clearly showed my available space go down from 40GB to 30. Second, I obviously then went and played several songs and albums that I had just synced before leaving, while on the commute to work.

Just now, while clearing out notifications I noticed that the usage widget in NC showing 40GB available. Out of curiosity I launched the Music app, and Lo and behold ALL of the music I synced this morning with iTunes is GONE!

The only music showing is what I've purchased via iCloud.

I currently am not using Apple Music, and have the 'show Apple Music' toggle set to OFF in settings. Haven't rebooted the phone since the sync, and haven't made any settings changes or done much of anything really, as I was at work most of the day- came home and am now baffled that there is zero music actually stored on the phone. Storage under settings also confirms this.

I've never experienced something like this, and am wondering how it could even be possible for 10GB of music to literally be wiped out.

I didn't delete the music inadvertently under storage settings, Apple Music is off, iTunes isn't open on my Mac so a wifi sync is out of the question - and wifi is also off on my Mac anyway...so there's that.

Running the latest version of 9.3 on a 6s.

I had 30GB free after syncing the music this morning, so any self purging from iOS to make room is out of the question.

This is extremely bizarre - thoughts?
