Music Playback Issues after iOS4.1 Update

Today after i updated my iPhone, i plugged in the USB in my car and played music and started to hear this crackling noise. Thought my speakers were blown, but the noise wasn't there when i played CDs. Then i hear other friends of mine have been getting this crackling noise after updating to 4.1, even on an iPod Touch.

Anyone else having this issue?? What a major F up by apple, now i can't listen to music anymore.

I haven't noticed any crackling noises, but the music "mutes" itself after about 40 seconds into the first song to play after my iPhone is plugged into the USB port in my car. Once it mutes itself, it won't "unmute" until I unplug it and plug it back in...and the circle continues. It was working great prior to iOS4.1.
