apple website says 36 hrs also when i load a battery app it says 36 hrs on playback im getting about 24 hrs is that about right?

screen off although i have been switching it on every now and again.
no equelizer

That's a good question (I'm interested in other answers, too).

I've got a 2G 16GB Touch and usually charge it about twice a week, but I don't use it a LOT and rarely play music on it.

Bought my wife a 32GB 3G a few weeks ago for her birthday (she's a game fanatic). She uses it just to play games and usually has to charge it twice a DAY.

Do you have your Wi-Fi on? If so that will cause a significant drop in battery life. Also, check to see if your location services is on as well.

no wi-fi off location services off done turned everyting off that it recommends whats does other ppl get
