I dunno, somewhere in West Texas
I downloaded the gMusic2 app to sync my google play music library with my iPhone 5. That process was flawless but now I can't seem to get the music player app to recognize any of my playlists that I downloaded to the device for offline listening.

The only thing that shows up in the music player app are old songs I had on iTunes years ago. I did a reboot to see if it will show up but nada still.

Are you talking about the stock Apple Music app? If so, you can only add content there through iTunes. You cannot add anything from a third party source.
