So I've come across this annoying bug a few times now. Im sure it has to do with the volume control on the watch and my headphones themselves. When listening to music if I alternate between adjusting the volume on my headphones themselves (non apple) and my Apple Watch I get into this situation where the phone just basically has a meltdown and won't change volume/pause or respond to anything. Wont change on the watch, won't change on the phone itself either when I use the slider or press pause.

This is beyond annoying as if I'm listening to loud music and then want to speak to someone in the gym I cant lower the volume at all or pause it. I literally have to force close the music app. However I then cannot re open it at all. It just doesn't respond when I press the icon. Literally the only way to get it back to the way it was is to completely shut down the phone and power back on.

This is the 3rd time it has happened now and only since ios13.

Has anyone else experienced this? also, is there a way to report this bug to apple?
