Music Player Recommendation Please (Mac mini & iPhone Remote capable)

Hi Team,

Since having issues with my Apple Music library, I wondered if there is a good alternative music player for my library which sits on my headless Mac mini.

Would need to have an associated iPhone remote app so I can operate the music without having to remote into the Mac mini via computer.

I love the apple remote app but the music app has really screwed my library by cutting songs short and generally being really unreliable!

There are media servers, such as Plex, that will allow you to stream your music library to multiple devices.
