I have been trying for months to get my brother and I's music library stored in an efficient manner but have completely failed at all of it.
We both have a macbook and ipod classic. We want to be able to access the same library from itunes and to be able to sync our ipods through the itunes. I would like to have the library stored on an external drive, since the amount of music we have together is around 4 to 500 gb's (plus photos and video). I have gotten a time capsule and a separate mac mini (used) to attempt this but haven't made any ground.
If anyone knows how to accomplish this I would be very grateful. Also any other way that I may have not thought about would be cool too.
