So I was in my car using the iPhone 4 for music for the first time yesterday since I got it. I don't know if it is just me, but the music sounded better then it did on my 3g, has anyone else noticed this? It was exceptionally clear.

I felt the same way. I thought maybe I was imagining things.
What is the difference with apple lossless files?Mine sounds beautiful as well but im using apple lossless files
Also, what do you guys use for listening to your music? Tape deck, fm transmitter, etc. I have a device called the iDeck and its awesome except you hear that hissing noise tapes make. Its not a huge deal but it would be nice to get rid of that. And i hate fm transmitters. They never sound good.
I noticed a huge difference, and I'm not an audio expert by any means. This is really encouraging news if true. One thing that has always put me off the ipods etc is that I find the music quality is awful! I'm not just talking their earphones - the output from their hardware is really poor compared to rivals such as Sony.
Please let it be true... I'll finally be able to be content with the one portable device!!
Good to see other people are noticing it too!The headphone jack on my 3GS sounds like azz compared to my 2G. I'm happy that my 4 sounds great.
