I've used Magix Audio Cleaning Lab Deluxe in the past on PC for recording old vinyl records to my computer's hard drive. From what I can gather, this software is not compatible with Mac. What software is there for Mac that does a similar job and does not cost the earth?

Cheers.

Well, maybe not exactly the perfect tool for the job, but GarageBand should do the trick. Also I think you could use Audacity.

Edit = just took a quick peek at Audacity - looks like it has several filters and plugins that may be quite useful for cleaning up vinyl transfers.

Thanks, I'll check these out later :)
