The search feature within the Music app on my second-gen iPod touch doesn't work, and hasn't for as long as I can remember trying. If I type the name of an artist, song, etc., no results are ever shown. Searching for a band name or song title through the main iOS search function does work.
Is there something I can do to trick the Music software into working correctly, such as deleting a pref file, cache, or something like that? Anyone else experience this problem?
I'm running iOS 4.2.1, which is the latest support on the 2G iPod touch as far as I know.
