I am trying to sync a specific album that I just ripped to my iMac to my iPhone.

Every time I try syncing it though, iTunes says there's an issue and it can't sync (and it has a lot of free space so that isn't the issue.)

In iTunes though, with my iPhone connected, if I disclose the contents of my iPhone and display the music, it clearly shows the album being there (and no it isn't just listening what I have on my computer because the full library has 5500 items, my iPhone only has 5200, which is the number it displays.)

Another weird thing... on the sync screen for iTunes, the bar showing how much space each type of media is consuming... there's an extra color..

between the normal blue for music and the yellow for pictures, I have a relatively small dark blue section (about half the size of the yellow portion.) The legend doesn't have anything for dark blue... what is it? Music that failed to sync? Corrupted songs? What do I have to do to make it sync? I'm getting so frustrated... the music all plays fine on my computer (an iMac,) but just won't sync to my iPhone!

Okay, dark blue is audio with video I found...
IDK which files specifically that is... I wasn't aware I had any music videos, it really seems like Apple should label it... but whatever.

The files still aren't syncing! Help!

t.t

I tried converting all the files and syncing again, now it lists them all 2X in iTunes (and the amount of space left on my iPhone has gone down,) but they still won't show up!

:O

It keeps giving me that same stupid error!

Ok, I finally got fed up with it and told it to not sync any music or video. It spent like, 20 minutes not telling me anything other than that it was syncing. When it finally finished, my iPhone was filled with nothing but photos and apps. I swapped it to manually manging music and dragged the one album I wanted on. It synced fine. Plays fine on my iPhone. What the heck was the issue? I was thinking one file was corrupt or something, and here it goes just fine now. t.t

I blame Apple for these two hours of lost sleep.
