I'm posting in this section because even though my question pertains to all iPod's and music players, I have an iPod touch...and well, it just seemed appropriate to post here :)

Is there any software that will make the "sound level" of all the songs in my iPod the same? That is, I have songs with excellent quality and others that even though the quality is very good, they play very low...so you raise the volume to listen to it and when the next song plays it just blasts in your ears. Maybe some software that "equalizes" the sound amongst a playlist of songs?

TIA

There should be a "sound check" option in the settings and I believe it does exactly that.
