My "Stripy" speakers arrived yesterday. I plan to use them with my iBook while away from home watching DVDs and also with the iPod. They are well made and audio performance is on a par with the Sony SRS-T70's I used in the past. Bass is lacking although it is rummored that Music Studio will release a separate sub-woofer later this year.
The "Stripy House" master control amplifier house a 'control ball' which controls, on/off, volume, bass, tone - glowing different colours to show what is being altered!
Each speaker is 62mm high with a ?48mm
Total output is 9 watts, hardly room filling but they work fine for while sitting around an iBook watching a movie.
The one annoying thing is he mass of cables - I guess I'm just to use to the cable free desk the iMac G5 gives you
Music Studio - Stripy Speaker
Ow, they cost around 99,- here in europe.
