I was using iTunes yesterday and found music was stuttering. I had handbrake running, Safari browsing and a download running in the background.
Music is housed on an external drive and the OS is running from an external SSD. On my old iMac, having all these activities running wasn't an issue ( 2011 iMac with 12 GB Ram ) but I'm thinking that perhaps the 8 GB Ram in this 2017 iMac is perhaps the reason why iTunes exhibiting sporadic stuttering playing audio tracks.
Thoughts ?
