I’ve just reset my watch as I found notifications weren’t always coming through. I didn’t restore from a backup, I set it up as a new watch. All seems fine except music sync. Before it would show the Apple Music playlists (favourites and for you) as available to automatically sync. Now the phone app just shows a spinner.
I’ve rebooted both devices and left them both on the charger overnight. Any ideas?
See screenshot below the spinner is where the playlists were listed before.

Same here - Heavy Rotation with a constant spinner underneath, although it seems to have happened after I signed out of my iCloud account on my iPhone to fix an issue with Personal Hotspot. Watch now says that there are 0 songs synced.

Edit: Managed to fix it :)

I put the watch and phone on charge, then manually added an album using the Add Music option below the spinning icon. Once that had synced, the spinner disappeared and was replaced with the usual Chill Mix and New Music Mix, which is now syncing (8 of 169 songs, so far).
