So I ran into a unique (for my anyway) situation regarding my bluetooth headset and music from the iPhone. I was beginning to make a call and plugged the phone into my Clarion iPod controller for my car. I had it on the iPod source on the headunit so it immediately began to play. But it was playing through my headset and not through my headunit. I hit pause on the stereo and it stopped and I finished the call.
But I wanted to test further and so I tried to make a call again while the phone was not plugged in. I switched over to iPod while the call was ringing and hit play. Again it played through my headset. I understand it wasnt stereo or even high quality but it proves its possible.
So my question is, could the release of the SDK produce some sort of stereo bluetooth capability or A2DP support? I know it originally wasnt supported on my Treo 680 but a small app made it possible. Maybe its just a pipe dream.
