Music - Unable to Delete Playlists

Greetings!

On my iPhone 6 (iOS 10.2.1) I have a couple of playlists in the Music app that I'd like to delete. When I swipe right to left, I do not get the red DELETE option. When plugging into iTunes, I am able to see the playlists on my device but also am not able to delete them. Any ideas?
