Music volume goes to 0% when starting Spotify.

So I use the 3.5 mm headphone jack on my SE, Listening to a Podcast, open up spotify on my watch to listen to some tunes, and the sound goes silent when I press play. Have to use the crown to turn the volume up. Has happened a couple times.

Is this apple's way of strong arming me into apple music? Or just a glitch? Have heard a couple people suggest to reset watch to fix some issues, just haven't had time recently.
