Hello,

I recently got myself a new iPhone 5s after the excellent results with my MacBook Pro retina. I sometimes download music and in android there were many mp3 files downloaders.

From the App Store I downloaded Musify which was meant to be something like that but once I download the song I want it does not appear on my Music app nor I can transfer it to my MacBook (or at least I don't know how to).

Does anyone know how to use this app? Any suggestions on apps for downloading mp3 songs?

Thanks!

Hey!

Apple doesn't allow access to the stock Music library, so it's (AFAIK) impossible to permanently download an MP3 onto the iDevice. Musify can only store songs in itself - if you delete the app, the music should be gone.

You'd have to download the MP3 on your Macbook, import it to iTunes and sync your device.

Android is generally a lot more open, and does allow apps to modify the stock music library. The issue with that is that you could potentially download a corrupt or unsafe file.
