So I've been thinking about getting a new Mac! Yah!

So looking around through discover I could get 5% through shop discover, 5% through the cashback bonus up to $1500, and 2% back on Oct 26th through the double cashback day. My question is has anyone had any luck combining this with corporate discounts or educational ones as the 5% shop discover says you can't use it with any other promotion. If you could that would be sweet.

Math:

$1597 13' Retina Macbook Pro through corporate discount
- 75.00 Cashback
- 79.85 Shop Discover
- 31.94 Double Cashback promo
= $1410.21

All picked up in a state with no sales tax, and minus anything I can get for my existing macbook.

I bought a 15" rMBP back in September when Apple was having all of those educational promotions.

I bought it from the website using my Discover card. I used the $200 off instantly and the free $100 gift card promotion. Discover honored the $1899 purchase and got back over $90. I should have recieved $100 back though, but since they deducted $100 from the laptop and charged me straight up for the gift card (gift cards do not earn cashback) I was out $6 lol.

Hope this helps
