Now that we have the cloud and all, and my (limited-on-space) Air being my only computer, I am wondering if there is a way to not sync apps. I just want them on my phone. Now, I know I can delete them once they are on my Air but, 1) Won't they just sync back? and 2) I don't want to have to do this each time I get new apps.

Thanks!

It looks like we're stuck still having to sync to a computer. There's no option to sync apps to the cloud.

At least it's wireless now :D

I don't care about syncing to the cloud, but if I ever lost anything I could just re-download them. I just don't want all my apps on my Air.

In that case you would have to download all your apps on your idevice and when you connect to your computer to sync, say no to transfer purchases.

EDIT: Actually this way may just erase all the apps off your device. You can also just deselect sync apps in the apps tab when you connect your idevice to iTunes.
