Muted email notifications still 'ping' with sound

Set both my email accounts on the Watch to 'Custom'.
Each email account is set:
Show Alerts - On
Sound - Off
Haptic - On

But watch still 'pings' a glass sound when I receive an email.

Any ideas how to stop the sound? Thanks

Try restarting both. I've not had any success with custom email notifications. Notifications stop in the custom notification mode.

No - still no luck.
Reset both Watch and Phone.
Turned Prominent Haptic 'off' just in case it was that.

Watch still pings the 'glass' sound when I receive an email.

Sorry to bump this.
Anyone else not able to silent incoming email notifications? Mine still 'ting' with the glass sound even though sound is off for both my email accounts.

Silent Mode is ok - no more email sounds. But, I want sounds switched on just not for incoming emails.

I went into Glances and turned sound off and that is working for me.
