This has been brought up a couple of times, but no real answers have been given.

Is there any application that will mute an individual application's sound? Like, say I wanted to watch a movie via Hulu or Netflix. Usually the audio from those sources is a little quiet so I have to turn the volume up, therefore any other sounds are loud as hell. Is there any way to just mute all sounds EXCEPT for certain applications? I know there are some applications that allow you to record the sound from certain applications only so it makes me think that it might be possible. Thanks for any help!

Not that I know of. I turn AIM sounds off most of the time because they're annoying anyway, but I don't know how to turn down say the mail chime sound.
