Muting Siri

Hello! I just got the iPhone 5 in the mail and I like everything on silent.
I have been able to lower Siri to its lowest volume (holding down the home button and then using the volume buttons), but it's not enough for me.

I watched a YouTube video (about a year old) where someone just kept lowering the volume until it was on silent, but it just isn't working for me on iOS6. Does anyone else have this problem, or a solution for it?
