Can someone tell me how I can buy the iPhone with a trade in and use Apple Card to finance it for 24 months at 0% without having to choose one of the major carriers ?

I use MVNO Visible....

Same question here, but with US Mobile. I remember in the past people would say to purchase the T Mobile version for some reason but can't recall exactly why.
Just chatted with an Apple specialist about this issue.

She said I could not purchase (finance) an iPhone 17 unless I had an account with one of the major carriers.

She said I could open a new account (line) with TMO or VZW and then after I get the phone financed, switch it over to my MVNO carrier.

Would that be safe to do ?

in past years, it was possible to order by choosing the t-mobile option, as they didn't ask you to enter any details to purchase. then when setting up the phone there was a way to bypass the activation screen. we won't know if this method will work this year until someone tries it and posts about it

IIRC, they did so at the behest of the carriers, but I'm not for sure on that.
I remember reading the same when they killed 0% financing on unlocked phones purchased with the Apple Card.
Unlocked with no carrier is still available as long as you're willing to pay in full. I don't think that option was ever available with 0% APR financing.
It was available for the first couple of years since the card’s release, then they ended it.
