Hey guys,

during the home office era I wanted to treat myself to a more ergonomic mouse than the Apple Magic Mouse and decided to go with the Logitech MX Master 3.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly on my MacBook Pro 15" 2016 with Catalina. It works fine for some time and then it just stutters and jumps all over the place. It's especially bad when AirPods are connected. So my guess would be, that it's a bluetooth issue. BUT the included receiver shows the same problems and is even worth than the built in bluetooth.

I also got the MX Keys and they also don't work properly sometimes.

Do you guys have any ideas? I already formatted the Mac and reinstalled everything. I even tried it without the Logitech drivers. Same thing.

THanks!

I had this a while back when I still had my MX Master - my issue was being on WiFi 2.4GHz band, it caused interference. Once I switched to the 5GHz band, I had no issues. I am now using the MX Vertical and have had zero issues since I am on 5GHz.

Maybe give that a try?

I just received mine today, and I am using it with my Late 2015 iMac 27". I did see some jumpy movement, in small increments across the screens. Note I have two outboard 27" LCD monitors flanking the iMac. I had enlarged the cursor so I could find it more easily with all the acreage. So, maybe the jerkiness was magnified.

I saw the mentions of BT interference. So, I turned off my Apple Trackpad, and now the cursor is smooth as silk. I have not tried the cursor with a BT headphone in use yet. I have an external DAC and amplifier for my headphones. So they are hard wired.

I started having this problem with my nano-receiver connected MX mouse and keyboard ... jumpy mouse, erratic keyboard ... until I found an article that nailed the issue: interference from other devices with the nano receiver. The solution was simple: connect the nano receiver to a USB extension cable so it hangs a few feet away from all other electronic devices. https://www.worldcadaccess.com/blog...ic-its-the-mouses-nano-receiver-at-fault.html
