Hey gang.
I just got myself a Logitech MX Revolution mouse and I've configured it using SteerMouse (as opposed to the unconvincing Logitech Control Centre).

I've set my scroll wheel to scroll both vertically and horizontally and the button just under it (i think its meant for search) to open Safari. Also, the MX Revolution scroll wheel, when clicked down on, is meant to change scrolling modes (normal scrolling and free-scrolling).

When I start using the mouse after turning my Mac on, all the above mentioned buttons work fine (scrolling and opening safari), but clicking the scroll wheel doesn't change scroll modes.

BUT, after turning the mouse off and on again, the scroll button works and changes scroll modes, but the scroll wheel doesn't scroll horizontally and the button under it doesn't open Safari any more.

Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this? Is the problem hardare ot software related?
