mx tube not working/ says edge when on wifi

I just jailbroke my friends iphone and I have 2 problems.

1. MX Tube doesn't download videos with the error "Cannot connect to socket"
2. For some reason, now the phone says that it is running on Edge when it is running on wifi

Please help thanks.

Odd....download BossPrefs and see what happens when you disable and then enable both wifi and edge
