I have a Logitech MX 1000 laser mouse which is acting up lately. There is something wrong with the left click. When I try and click and drag (like File and drag down to Print, or selecting text) the button stops recognizing my pressure and selects the wrong item, or stops highlighting text.
I have had no problems for over a year. But last month this started and it has progressively worsened. I have tried resetting it, cleaning it, unplugging it, reinstalling the software, etc. Any ideas?
For example, as I was editing this post it happened when selecting text. I would click and drag over the sentence, but where I began to drag was ignored and started randomly a few words after the click location. I'm so frustrated!
