i love it, its great,

BUT THEY JUST RELEASED THE NEW MBPs

WITH 4GB ram, for less than when i bought it for 2GB.

if i call apple would they give me the total of 4gb Ram since my MBP is new

All i have to say is tough deal. Research a little more b4 buying next time.

Yes, and they will throw in a free pony too.

There was little research to be done, most threads here that were about the subject whether Apple would update their laptop line, said that there probably were no big changes to be expected.

Apple took us a little by surprise by upgrading their laptops quite a bit. My MBP is also just 3 months old (and a little damaged due to a drop, left corner dented) and I would love the better screen, longer battery life and SD card (specifically because I use my MBP for photo/video editing)

That's just the way it is. Tech evolves, live with it. Or sell and upgrade.

There was plenty of threads on "should i wait till WWDC" way longer than a month ago.

Everyone knew WWDC was coming, and there's even a Buying Guide that tells you about the product cycle.

Honestly, I feel your pain about technology advancing right after you buy something, but I doubt they'll give you 2GB of RAM to suffice you. The forums load up with these questions about trading in and selling right after an event.

That's the joy of consumerism! Already outdated...
