My 1st MacBook Pro should be delivering today.

And I'm extremely excited. So I just had to share it with people who understand! It's my first Mac so i'm going nuts waiting on it to arrive. It's been on the truck for delivery fro about 2 hours now. And it's only 11:34am. It's gonna be a loooooooong day. But i'm so freakin excited to finally be ditching PC.
 
You wont be sorry. It is a great product. Mac OSX does everything Windows does. I have no need to install Windows on my MBP. It handles flash very well. Simply put, The thing works. The costumer service? Unbeatable

almost everything. for everything else theres bootcamp.

ie. some software requires windows. some business websites require activex and won't happen without windows.
 
Congratulations! Got mine last wednesday and couldn't be happier, you must be psyched :D

What model did you get?
 
I have Windows 7 on my PC at home and it also works very well. As soon as i run into something i cant do on OSX that i can only do on Windows, I will keep the option of installing Windows on my MBP open. Until then, Im good.
 
As with getting any new product, scrutinize it for scratches and dings and other imperfections. Sure, it'll take away from the awesomeness of the MacBook Pro, but you'll notice later and it'll be too late to return and get a perfect one.

well there's the 14 days return period with a 10% restocking fee. If Apple is renewing the line and you want to keep what you got Apple will refund you the difference between the current model and the older model.

but honestly, a Mac is a friend you can count on for 5+ years. you won't be missing out much, if any.

Dude. I was in your position over a year ago. Still feels damn good today.
