I bought this 2009 Macbook from a girl who had upgraded to an iPad after graduating from college and not needing the burdensome load of a laptop.. ha!

At any rate, it has been running perfectly for a few months.. suddenly, it is running so slowly it's driving me crazy. It has stopped about 5 times while typing this to give me the rainbow pinwheel, so it's not even a functional computer right now. I have restarted multiple times, updated software and tried finding programs that open upon startup. I am posting some screenshots of my activity log in hopes someone can see something that is screwing up.

I also just recently had google fiber installed... I don't think it's the internet, but i just need as much advice as possible!! Thanks guys.

2GB of Ram? I would for sure upgrade to 4GB, as that is pretty much minimum now a days.

Now, you need to select "All Processes" in activity monitor or it's impossible to tell what *could* be slowing you down.
