My 3GS has 5.0.1 & baseband at 5.16.05, is it possible to jailbreak & unlock?

Only option is to install an iPad baseband onto it. Please research the cos of this baseband on your phone before proceeding.

There are so many threads in here already talking about this. You can also look at my previous posts on how to do this.

Also, www.iclarified.com has instruction for you on this.

Alas, I am also in a similar situation. I share with you this site for this warning you must heed. It is with great possibility that you may have to wait more than a fortnight before the stars align and baseband 5.16.05 can be unlocked without further complications.
