My 3rd Tattoo.. What do you guys think?

I've just Photoshopped this quickly, as a new design I'm thinking of having on my forearm.

I have 2 other tatt's already - the side of one calf, and the back of the other.

Both are words. The lyrics to 'Angel' by Sarah McLachlan, and 'Quod me nutrit, me destruit' on the side of my calf (which means, 'what nourishes me, destroys me'. It's a reference to my family, albeit a dark one)

That one doesnt do anything for me, but then again, tat's are a personal preference. Would that one be color or B/W as it is there?

My wife ones to get one of a Bass guitar with Angel wings with ribbons on the top and bottom (to have initials and a date put in)

but she hasnt found anyone to design it for her yet.

Since your other two are txt based, why not make this one all image to balance it out?

I don't think the font fits well with the star (sort of like a mix of old and new)

Why not just a shooting star? But again it's personal preference.

It's your forearm, so ultimately go with what you want, but my first impressions:

The font is pretty bad. It comes across as really tacky to me, a bad attempt at looking cool mixing too many inspirations (Danish & German jump out at me). And when a lowercase "o" is the largest letter in the sentence... eh. Also, it's hard to read now, in 15 years you'll have to cover it up or tell people what it used to say. Lastly, it's very small in comparison to the star, which makes it look like an afterthought. That may be intentional, but I'd make it a bit larger if the text and image should be 'equal.'

Again, just my opinion. Then again, I wouldn't have gotten either of your first two tats, so my opinion may be bunk to you.

I'm not sure I can find a nice way to put this so I'm just going to come out with it.... I think it's bad, I mean really REALLY bad. So bad I am not even sure what to suggest to improve it.
