EDIT: Thanks for fixing my title!
Just wanted to make note of the weirdness I'm getting now with my ATI Radeon HD 5870 (in a Hex Mac Pro running 10.6.4).
Initially, I was running a 30" Dell 3007 via DL-DVI + Samsung Syncmaster 24" via MDP. No sleep or startup issues at all, but was noticing blips of static/snow now and then. Thought it was my imagination at first b/c they're so quick, but I've seen them more than a few times now. It's sporadic, but seems to coincide with such things as clicking on the dock, clicking in a save dialogue, etc.
I removed the Syncmaster from the chain and still get the bursts just with the 30" Dell. I was using only the 24" initially (for about a week) and never saw a blip, so I'm guessing it's only happening through the DL-DVI.
I swapped out my cable with one I use at work and no difference.
Hopefully, this is just a software/firmware fix. If not, I've got AppleCare. Going to call Apple next week when I have time.
The Hex feels blazing fast, though.
