Loaded an un-optimized app but the iOS menu bar was normal. I understand why un-optimized apps look a bit blurry but why is the iOS menu bar scaled up?

I've had the opposite happen on the home screen - big status bar with normal home screen. The app icons were overlapping the status icons!

menu bars aren't "menu bars", they're actually images.

Because in the app view the menu bar is part of the application from what I understand. So the whole thing gets blown up until devs update their apps. And boy does it make a difference!!
