I get the new phone every year (on launch day — though I had to settle for ‘launch weekend’ for my 7 Plus), and have since the original iPhone.
Despite the rumors leading up to the announcement, I was holding out hope that the iPhone X would have at least some availability on the 22nd.
Alas, we have to wait until November 3rd.
Only the 4 to 4S cycle was longer (June 24, 2010 to October 14, 2011).
As far as my tech fetish goes, it’s going to be a long ~6 weeks.
