Please bear with me! This might get long. 4 days ago my ipod touch 2nd gen suddenly stopped going into landscape view. I though nothing of this because it happens to my ipod from time to time. But it normally only lasts 2 days at most. It still doesn't work. Apps that use the accelerometer pick up the movements but it's slow. In order for Safari to go into landscape view it needs a REALLY hard shake. Since i have a 2nd gen itouch it does not have multitasking so i can't access the accelerometer lock.

I tried a full restore. Didn't help. And i tried an all settings restore. That didn't work and just brought on another issue.

After the setting restore. I went into the youtube app and was going to watch a video and checked my favorites tab. Every single favorite video is gone! Great! Not only is the accelerometer not working but i've lost 50+ videos.

Any help on getting the accelerometer working and/or getting the videos back would be much appreciated!

Thanks for reading!

Edit: The accelerometer works in Doodle Jump. The accelerometer is not broken! But it still doesn't work in safari...
