All it displays is only Finder...
Didn't realise when it started happening, but it is a recent occurence and it even persists when I reboot. Could my OSX be infected with a rootkit??!?
Well, at least you have lots of CPU cycles available

I've not seen this particular failure before, so all I can do is heckle. Sorry.
EDIT: good catch Eraserhead, I only looked to make sure he was showing 'all processes'.
Luckily, it appears that Spotlight is working fine as well.
