So I mostly use my iPad and iPhone with my Airpods. Literally it always just switches devices fine no problems at all. But the moment I sit at my Mac (M1 MBA) it is a nightmare. Firstly it doesn't smoothly connect - it prompts me and then has to ask to connect, then it instantly disconnects, then I have to connect it again. Then I have to futz with audio routing in Apple Music or whatever app I'm using that is kicking out audio. And half the time the volume control doesn't work from the Mac. Then if my iPhone rings, if I wan't to answer it on the airpods I have to argue with the things to stay connected to iOS afterwards.

Any interaction with iOS only is perfect.

So fundamentally: iOS = perfect. macOS = nightmare.

Does anyone else have these problems?
