Yea so, right this second, its about 75°C according to istat pro. It usually gets this hot when I skype video chat, but right now all Im doing is ichat and safari. 75° is a lot, but is it too hot? It's burning my lap.
 
mines about 71 C ... not really sure whats good or not i just got iStat pro yesterday and its the only temp that seems above average over the rest of my components

How do you make iStat read the temp of the Airport car?

From what I gather, Macs with Nvidia chips are missing that sensor. My mini, friends Whitebook (nvidia) and my other friends Uni MBP are all unable to read temps from the airport, but my Penryn 2.4 can.

That's weird since my Mac shows the temperature of my Airport card to be 63ºC and it's off.

Hmmm well that sucks. I'd like to see how hot it gets when I max out my 17Mbit connection lol.
