I called tech support but they told me I would just have to buy a new one. Kind of a bummer. But I suppose that's just life.

I really would like to go with Time Capsule but I don't want to give up on AirTunes, which I use all the time.

Unless, is it possible that the new iPhone remote program will allow audio streaming through Time Capsule (don't know how that we quite be possible, but it's wishful thinking)?

yikes I doubt it as far as the iphone is concerned.

Cant you take the express to an apple store and let them deal with it? I hope mine works alright. I ordered a refurbished one off apple.com over the weekend.

if you're out of warranty, then you are stuck buying a new one. if you have some extra expendable funds, go for the time capsule and get a refurb. express.
