My Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular is listed in my ATT account as an Apple iPhone 5s. Can this cause a problem when I try a number sync? Also, when I do a numbers sync for wearables, when I get to the verify Emergency 911 address I get the error message, "We can't find this address and we need a match to turn on wi-fi calling. Thus I am not able to use cellular with my AW3. I have been on the phone many hours and with many techs for ATT and still my problem is not solved.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Are you entering the exact same address that is used on your iPhone? Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling > Update Emergency Address. Yes, without an Emergency Address then automated process can't complete correctly.

Have you verified your address here: https://tools.usps.com/go/ZipLookupAction_input Also do you have any non-numeric fields in your address. Something like: 55-555 Any Street. If you have an address like this, try leaving out the Hyphen and the system should prompt you with the valid form when you are entering the e911 Address for NumberSync.

The device assigned will vary until your Watch is actually able to connect to the AT&T Cellular network. The key is to have the rep verify that your Watch's EID and IMEI are correctly "Parked" on the line for your Watch. They are very long number and often to rep will mis-undersand what you have said. You also might ask the rep to actually activate your Watch's line. By default it will be in a "Reserved" state.

What type of plan do you have and are you using an Access ID with just your iPhone?
